Goal

Clear, user-friendly website that makes course information & bookings easy

A responsive, user-friendly website built for Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Without Fear programme, designed to reassure visitors, present clear information and support course bookings.

About Flying Without Fear

Flying Without Fear is Virgin Atlantic’s well-known course for people who struggle with flying. Running since 1997, it has helped thousands of people overcome everything from take-off nerves to a complete fear of boarding an aircraft. The programme is supported by Virgin Atlantic pilots and trained staff, and has a long-standing success rate of around 98 percent.

Project Overview

Flying Without Fear needed a website that gave visitors clear, reassuring information from the moment they arrived. Many users land on the site already feeling nervous, so the structure, layout and language had to be easy to navigate and calming to read. The project focused on creating a responsive website that made the course details accessible, the booking journey simple and the support materials easy to find.

What I Delivered

    • A fully responsive, mobile-friendly website designed with clarity and reassurance in mind
    • Simple navigation that helps users find course information, locations, dates and pricing
    • A layout that builds trust through testimonials, FAQs and success stories
    • Integration of course guides, videos and resources to support users before and after attending
    • A professional visual style that aligns with Virgin Atlantic’s established brand
    • Clear booking paths with strong calls to action for course registrations

The end result is a website that supports the programme’s mission, gives anxious visitors confidence and makes it easy for people to take the first step towards overcoming their fear of flying.
